Student ExpectationsArrive for class and be seated by the designated start time.Do not talk while teacher is talking.Remain in seat, unless directed to do otherwise.Raise your hand to talk in class.Use inside voices during class. No shouting.Follow instructions given by teacher.Treat the teachers and staff with respect.Clean up after yourself and your area.Treat the facility with respect.Remain in designated rooms for Summit only. Do not wander to other parts of the building.Foul language, inappropriate topics, and misconduct will NOT be tolerated.
Parent Expectations (For parents remaining in the classroom during the lessons)Stay QUIET during the lessons. Please step out into the hallway, outdoors, or the LRC to have aconversation or to take a phone call.Assist your child (when needed) during the lesson.If a problem arises, please take it to a member of the Leadership Team.If you bring younger siblings to classes, they must be under full supervision by the parent at all times. If a young child becomes a distraction to the classroom activities, please take the child tothe LRC to enjoy free play time away from the classroom environment.Foul language, inappropriate topics, and misconduct will NOT be tolerated.
Registration and CancellationsOnly register for events you actually plan to attend. Check your personal calendar prior toregistering.Due to large numbers of Summit members, all participants must register for classes, fieldtrips, and events. Most classes have limited spots available. Some events do NOT requireregistration, and it is denoted by Leadership.Please cancel your registration (through Planning Center) at least 24 hours before the event.Failure to cancel reservation, or to simply not show up, may prohibit your ability to attend Summitclasses, events, field trips, and clubs in the future.If you cancel a reservation, please do not advertise the availability in the Facebook group. In most cases, a designated waitlist already formed.Attendance and check-in will be taken at each event that requires a registration.
Payment PolicySummit will NOT be issuing refunds for member cancellations.If a 3rd party field trip vendor cancels an event, a full refund will be issued.There will be no refunds for classes missed when using a Class Pass.If you would like to donate your refund to Summit instead of accepting it, please contact amember of the Leadership Team.
